INTERGEO 2009 a Success

The INTERGEO 2009 was a resounding success both for its organisers and for the exhibitors, with 16,000 visitors attending the fair and 1,500 people participating in the specialist congress. Simplified access to secure services

The current version of the sdi.suite securityManager produced by con terra GmbH permits access to secure services from ArcGIS and other applications, and is now available in a simplified form. New functions allow services which are protected against unauthorised access by securityManager to be invoked in ArcGIS once the user has successfully logged on to the system. The condition is that the user authenticates himself via the internal ArcGIS login dialogue.

The 11th GSDI World Conference took place in Rotterdam in The Netherlands on June 15-16 2009. This was the third time that the conference was held in a European country. The motto of this year's event was Spatial Data Infrastructure Convergence: Building SDI Bridges to Address Global Challenges, and it comprised the international conference of the GSDI Society, the third INSPIRE conference, and the Dutch DSDI conference.
