GISPAD
Mobile spatial data processing with pen computers and GPS
GISPAD enables the digital collection of spatial data with pen computers in the field. A graphical editor allows to draw, construct or even use GPS to measure any point, line or polygon object in a digital field map. Topographic maps, aerial photographs or vector data can be used as background information.
GISPAD offers an object-structured data concept that can be easily adapted for users' specific demands. Registration of the object's thematic properties in a relational GISPAD database occurs by means of user-defined digital forms. Plausibility tests support data correction in the field so that optimal data quality is obtained with little effort.GISPAD is particularly useful for coll-ecting complex spatial data and has been used in various large projects for years.
