con terra expands sales network for the sdi.suite

con terra has expanded its sales network for the sdi.suite, the software family for constructing and operating spatial data infrastructures and geoportals, through new partnerships in Germany and other European states.
 
The sdi.suite allows con terra GmbH to offer a practically tested solution for constructing and operating company and organisation-wide spatial data infrastructures (SDI). By expanding the sales network to 13 partners in eight European countries, the company is responding to the increased demand for service-based infrastructures.
 
It is not least thanks to INSPIRE, the EU directive for the creation of a European spatial data infrastructure, that the construction and expansion of web services able to exchange information interoperably via open, standard interfaces is progressing so smoothly. The sdi.suite represents a convincing package, with its standards-compliant components, its integrated technical logic, and its ability to allow users of ArcGIS to integrate special data and geoservices directly via internal interfaces.
By separating data storage from applications, sdi.suite-based spatial data infrastructures permit the harmonised exchange of data and information within organisations and between public departments, the business world, and the public.
