con terra at the GSDI 11th World Conference in Rotterdam

The 11th GSDI World Conference took place in Rotterdam in The Netherlands on June 15-16 2009. This was the third time that the conference was held in a European country. The motto of this year's event was Spatial Data Infrastructure Convergence: Building SDI Bridges to Address Global Challenges, and it comprised the international conference of the GSDI Society, the third INSPIRE conference, and the Dutch DSDI conference.
 
The 11th GSDI World Conference met with great interest, not only due to the high quality of the programme, with its numerous presentations and workshops, but also because the implementation of INSPIRE has recently entered a highly significant phase.

Fittingly, at its joint stand with ESRI Europe and Netherlands located in the company exhibition area, con terra presented its activities that feature INSPIRE-related solutions, such as the sdi.suite, ArcGIS and FME, as well as security and eCommerce for SDIs. The many visitors had the opportunity to direct their enquiries about products, projects and other topics relating to SDI and INSPIRE to con terra representatives. con terra GmbH was also actively involved in the working meeting of the INSPIRE Drafting Team as a member of the team for network services.
